I am always in awe at the beauty of a pregnant woman in the third trimester… The glow that radiates from them is amazing! Having the chance to do a maternity portrait session with a local tattoo and boudoir model was such an honor. With all the photographers that she works with regularly , she chose to work with us to capture this important moment in her life!
High Key Black & White Portraits
We departed from our normal dark & moody lighting and backdrops. Instead we elected to do something more ethereal and dreamlike. We surrounded her in light from behind and to the sides, while leaving enough shadows in the front to give a romantic and moody feel. The monochrome look of the black & white imaginary is a classic and timeless portrait that really adds to the overall feel.
A Pop of Color
To bring another dimension to the session, we decided to do a similar set, but this time in color. With the use of a beautiful cream maternity robe from our collection and lingerie, my stylist put together another soft, gorgeous look that really showcases the beautiful tones of her skin.
